This privacy policy explains how Bookked (operated by Design Sprint Academy GmbH & Co. KG, Warschauer Platz 11–13, 10245 Berlin, Germany) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit bookked.ai or sign up as a founding member.

2. What data we collect and why

a) When you visit this website

Your browser automatically sends technical data to our server when you load any page. This includes your IP address, browser type, operating system, referrer URL, and the time of access. This data is processed on the legal basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest) to ensure stable and secure operation of the site. It is not used to identify you personally and is deleted automatically after a short period.

b) When you submit your email address

When you enter your name and email address to reserve a founding member spot, we collect and store this information. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent) and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (necessary to process your reservation). We use this data to:

• Complete your founding member reservation
• Send you updates on Bookked's development and launch
• Contact you for onboarding when the product launches

You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing hello@bookked.ai.

c) When you complete payment

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. (354 Oyster Point Blvd, South San Francisco, CA 94080, USA). Stripe acts as a data processor on our behalf and is subject to GDPR-compliant data processing agreements. We do not store your payment card details. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.

3. Third-party services

Stripe — payment processing. Data is transmitted to Stripe servers when you proceed to checkout. See stripe.com/privacy.

Kajabi — we use Kajabi (Kajabi, LLC, 17220 Newhope Street, Fountain Valley, CA 92708, USA) to manage our contact list. When you submit your name and email, this information is also stored in Kajabi. See kajabi.com/policies/privacy.

Google Fonts — this site loads fonts from Google's servers (fonts.googleapis.com). This causes your browser to send your IP address to Google. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. See policies.google.com/privacy.

4. Data retention

We retain your name and email address for as long as necessary to fulfil your reservation and keep you informed about the product launch. If the product does not launch, or if you request deletion, your data will be erased within 30 days. Payment records are retained for 10 years as required by German tax law (§ 147 AO).

5. Your rights under GDPR

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
• Correct inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
• Request deletion of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
• Restrict how we process your data (Art. 18 GDPR)
• Receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20 GDPR)
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR)
• Withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Germany, the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit (datenschutz-berlin.de)

6. Cookies

This site does not currently use tracking or analytics cookies. If this changes, this policy will be updated and a cookie consent banner will be added. Stripe may set cookies during the checkout process — these are governed by Stripe's own cookie policy.

7. Security

This site is served over HTTPS with SSL/TLS encryption. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy as the product develops. The current version is always available at bookked.ai/privacy. Material changes will be communicated by email to founding members.
